Helix. Player recommendations

Hi. I've been using helix for a few months and on the whole I've been happy but every other game I'll get buffering every couple of minutes and a reconnecting message now and then. It then does a fast forward thing to catch up and makes the whole thing a bit shit.

I've been using it on a fire TV stick on the TV and also on a fire tablet. In both case I've been using helix's own TV app. I've just tried instead using a web browser on the tablet and logging in at their URL and it plays flawlessly...

So I thought I'd ask how everyone else uses helix so that I can find the most reliable and consistent stream during a game. Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried tivimate but when I found Smarters it was a game changer for me.

Perfect Player. 100% the best most friendly layout. Android TV looks great.

I have it on a firestick with the app and it works fine i did initial have an issue when i first set it up when it was buffering loads but i turned off (or on i cant remember) HW decoding and it made it play super smooth.

On my main tv i have it on the smart stb app which again runs ok but i definately have had more buffering through that. Web browser always tends to play perfect for me or via vlc. But i have never tried the same stream at the same time on multiple devices for a proper test
