Hi I am an individual in The Republic Of Ireland looking to get an iptv service with the uk channels and sports including sky bt and eir.

Does anyone have any idea how I could go about doing this as I am a Noob to all of this and would have no idea where to start.

Ive also heard I need to get a box for the iptv could you reccomend anything?

Thanks in advance

There are plenty of cheap IPTV boxes available (check amazon for ‘Android tv box’) but the firestick is my choice for a cheap and cheerful unit.

The 4K model is nice and snappy with an excellent Bluetooth remote control. Also the apps are designed to work with the remote.

As for IPTV, get some trials from /r/iptvresellers

For video on demand, check out Plex or Emby. /r/plexshares has plenty of free and paid for services.

As an example, I pay £6 a month for a Plex share that has over 15,000 movies and over 4,000 TV series. Cheaper and better than Netflix, IMO.

I use a may device. I find it's the easiest to drop n use, especially for beginners ( n my wife lol) but other than that you will need a Android device or smart tv

Not the best of times to be starting out with IPTV with nearly all providers struggling with their services due to Xtreme codes going down. So just be aware that any providers you try will not have a fully functional service ATM whick won't be a true reflection of what they usually offer
