Solved - Anyone know any trick for getting plex to detect xteve? My Xteve is on my pc and my plex server is in another country. So I'm guessing the local iP address I put In to plex doesnt work? Please point me in the right direction.

Solution Step 1 - change Xteve port in the config file with a text editor. 2 - forward port in router to the devices internal IP and new xteve port. The default xteve port wpuld not work with my router. 3 - set up plex dvr in plex web. Direct it to your external ip and new forwarded port. 4 - might need to try it a few times and reboot the plex server for it to stick.
