You don't.
You pre-pay and get the service you want. You want pro-rated cancellation, get cable or satellite.
EDIT: That being said, I'm going to start looking for another provider as well. You are correct that there's way too many buffering/dead channels.
I don’t believe you do. They’re prepaid by 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Whatever you’ve paid for will be active until it runs out. And I believe your account will remain on Helix, it’s si ply your activation that runs out.
I left Helix for the same reason. The streams were far to bulky in size, and a lot of 1080p 264 that would just be stuttering to get through.
I’ve been using OK2 IPTV for a couple months now and it’s been amazing. And it stayed up during the majority of the XC scandal (I thought it broke for a moment, but it turns out I had just forgotten to renew my sub). Not to mention the obvious benefits of the videos streams being LESS THAN HALF the size of Helix’s and at the same resolution.

There is no "cancel" button. I was also looking last week but failing to find one I just left my sub to expire.
Bit of a shame as they were great once but cracks started to appear way before the recent incident.
