i dream of a sports free all english language iptv

i suspect there's a minority market all iptv developers are missing,
no sports|porn, but instead you get every english language stream
from all over the world, so besides the usual us ca uk nz au streams
get all their cabletv/satellite channels even if they seem redundant,
as the same cabletv channel will have different programs by country.
you include 24/7's music & news streams geared to english speakers
who visit countries all over the world, plus good english VoD libraries.
leave out english network local market stations - those are just stupid,
all you need is a us east and us west coast version of every ota network.

The trick is to find a service that's both cheap & reliable that offers M3U, then use another service like iptv-epg to whittle it down to only English channels. I have less than 100 channels in my entire list with Eternal ($5 a month). Anything more than $10 for a service, and I prob wouldn't even bother. I don't care about sports, vod, catchup or anything like that.

I had that with Helix.

Every English Channel on their Triple Play package (US, CA, BRITAIN, AUS, NZ, ETC) and then I deleted all the music channels, sports channels, catchup channels, 24/7 channels, etc.

Not only did I have every “main channel/network”, but I had every variation and affiliation. For example, not only did I have NBC, but I had NBC Los Angeles, NBC Bumfuck Nowhere, NBC New York, and 40 other NBC channels. I could’ve literally watched nothing but NBC channels for a week and not been bored as each one shows different programs except for their regions Primetime when they all show the same thing.

A lot of channels, but it stuttered a lot. I switched to OK2 which doesn’t have 40+ affiliate station channels for every network channel, but I’d rather have one awesome version of NBC than 40 sub par versions.

I dream of the opposite. Just the 20 or so sports channels I care about.

No 5000 channels that make the service a target to 5000 copyright holders.

No porn that can be watched on free porn sites anyway.

No VOD that make the service an even bigger target.

Just a select few channels to keep the operation somewhat under the radar, and I'd be willing to pay what I'm currently paying for 5000 channels with VOD and all.
