Firestick a lot easier to use
Firestick 4k. Do not even think about the Roku. Will not work. Its locked down for the most part.
My two cents: I have developed apps for Roku in my previous jobs, normal people can only make apps using brightscript, which is the most retarded language I’ve ever seen (is basically VisualBasic re-made), it’s almost imposible to build any complex apps for it, so if you want quality apps, stay away from it.

Of course Fire Stick Roku is junk and useless when comes to IPTV and Kodi.
chromecast was a waste of money because every stick now can cast.
fire tv is an android 7.1 system you can side load whatever you want,
roku is a proprietary system, so you're stuck with their play store shit.

nvidia Shield > Fire tv 4k > fire stick > typical Chinese android boxes > roku
