Like the title says, been watching for the past 2 days and it’s getting better and better, only issue I’ve had is epg being 5 hours behind so had to offset. Heard some people on here saying they were gonna do a runner, never the case, they’ve been around for years and are still one of the, if not the best out there. That is all!!
My Helix is running like dogshit. Did they change the addresses for m3u & epg? I am running Tivimate.
They have tweeted that they have moved to a new server but I am still having the same problems I was having before this announcement: most of European channels are down, none from Italy, very little from Croatia, none of the TSN Canadian channels, BeinSports Canada not working, and so on. I opened a ticket, not even an automatic reply yet. My subs ends on October 27, so guess what I am going to do if by then it is still the same? One thing that to me is quite suggestive is that new subscriptions are still disallowed.
I had issues for the last few days and went onto my active devices and see there was a different MAC portal to what I was using. I changed it and got most of the UK channels back now Hopefully will get better. I had almost given up with it.
New server seems fast as hell from my experience.
Anyone else having trouble connecting to the portal on stb emu right now? Was working fine an hour ago
All the documentary and entertainment channels are running smooth, but go ahead and try any of the UK sports channels. Buff... .. .. .. .. .. . ering
I rolled the dice and renewed with Helix for another month, not because everything’s perfect, but at least they seem to be headed in the right direction.

Seems like it's down again. Not loading url on MAG or app on my phone. Is it just me. The Twitter page they have doesn't mention anything

I was trying to watch last night and was missing Canadian channels, all Indian channels were down and the movie channels that I was able to watch were buffering.
The only thing that worked was VOD
Tivimate issues with epg, go onto settings, playlist, then epg, then top of list then select your epg provider (usually ur subby with xmltv in it) then select, then click on offset, then change by +5 if in uk. Everyone else. I’m jus saying what works for me atm, yes they are buggy, but they are by far the most stable (I have 3 subs with diff providers as I’m a football freak) and they are by far the best still. Since xc went down they have been the most consistent with updates and they have at least kept the 24/7 channels going so we all have something to watch. Guys we all pay £10/$10 a month for the worlds tv, let’s chill on calling services out when we all know that a full cable/sky uk service would cost upwards of £100/$100 a month. Love to all, and happy streaming guys

Canada live tvs are not working plus many channels arw buffering but overall they did very good job
Just to make this clear I’m an end user of helix , I’m in now way a reseller etc or have any interest of being one! Catchup for me on tivimate on an nvidia shield 4K and Firestick 4K are both working flawless on channels that work. I have fibre broadband with 80+mbps download so maybe that’s why I’m cushty? I dunno. If you’ve used Iptv before you should all know how to clear caches etc and reload your services and that will invariably helps you all. Also check helix twitter for updates. Long story short, if In uk offset epg by +5hrs
Helix has been around for years? I thought they started after the Fab demise - less than 2 years ago at most.
Helix was completely down yesterday, fixing their panel. So - love the enthusiasm - but lets keep it real.
Is Helix a good alternative to epicstream?

I certainly fell lucky with my two subs (Helix was some of them). Few hiccups here and there bit issues were well communicated and quickly sorted. Probably better service than what I've had from a commercial TV service in the past!

Only thing I dont like about Helix is how long it takes to load up a channel, on other iptv services it usually takes 1-2 sec but on Helix its close to 3-5 sec, annoying when surfing. I dont think its a problem with my setup as other services work fine.
I became very dissatisfied with their service during this whole ordeal, after being a customer for two years. Service went completely down, but they had no problem sending me an email to remind me to renew my subscription. Not a "sorry the service has been down, here's an additional week of service". Screw them. Taking my business elsewhere.
Helix is migrated it system to different panel other than XC , things should get better from now on.
