IPTV smarters was the main choice for most people and well known with it's custom builds sold on boxes and resellers and used for piracy etc and all of the attention IPTV has received last few weeks since the big busts.

I noticed that the Authors of Smarters now have a big pop up disclaimer which appears when you load their website. I wonder if they are being the subject of complaints?.

I recommend Light IPTV , a basic app that's free (has no pro version either), lightweight and very limited ads that do not interrupt your viewing!

I heard tivimate is just as good. what do y'all recommend.

There's a few options that Smarters had that I haven't been able to find on any of the other players. (at least not all in one player like Smarters)

1. I can load multiple accounts, no limit, and it's easy to switch back and forth between providers
2. I can see how many connections are active on an account when I am logged in, and it also shows the number maximum connections.
3. I can use an m3u file or the login/pass url method.
4. I think there is another option but for some reason I can't recall it right now, lol

I literally just purchased the pro version about a month ago. This kinda sucks.

Its pretty awful. Too many inconsistencies. Not being able to back out of multi screen is terrible. I can't fathom how they haven't added multi accounts at once..

All the multi window layouts are terrible. All of them. 2 screens? Cool but they'll only take up 25 percent of the screen. How does that work??!

I'm guessing they made it middle of the road shitty so they could upgrade it for rebranding purposes.

Try the new player on Google Play: OTTplay IPTV. I like it very much.
