4k F-Stick Vs Shield

by andy8992

I would imagine that the shield is more powerful but my shield is getting old and I'm looking for something for another room.

In terms of processing power would the fuck stick compare? Do they handle multi window apps well?

They're on sale again for 25 bucks BTW.

I would also like to know how does a Corolla compare to a Bugatti?

I have both....like the Netflix and prime uses on 4K ....so I end up using it more. I was switching to iptv on shield, but eventually noticed there wasn’t too much of a difference. Shield is nice, but not necessary for simple app and iptv uses.

I get they're pretty far apart, long as it can run some simple enough IPTV apps I'll be fine I suppose

I use the 4k firestick and it works very well with the iptv I have. Plex is amazing and so is Netflix. Very responsive.

I have both. Shield is far superior a device but totally overkill for iptv. Firestick is perfect and the 4k is a step up and perfectly responsive. I'd only buy the shield if I actually used it for gaming/game stream.

even a 2015 shield, if it's up to date with system updates, is far more powerful for IPTV than a 4k firestick. I have both a 4k and a 2017 shield, it's not even close .

Just got a firestick (wasn't on sale yesterday, haha) and it works perfectly for me. Had it setup, both my services installed and working in about an hour. Super easy navigation and ease of use. Only tried multi view once but it seemed okay.

It works pretty great, power wise.

but

how on earth did Amazon decide to remove androids volume control?

There is no software option it control volume. I'm using a cheap projector.

WHY?!?

If you hardcore stream.... Go with the Shield.. During football season I can stream 4 different games (multiscreen) all day long with no issues.. (No issues also depends on your internet and provider as well of course)
