1 month after xtream codes

by appandweb

We are almost 1 month after the xtream codes take down , What have been changed ? What have been done ? Will xtream be back ?

Based on my provider updates and other providers, things are still not easy , some channels are still offline . The 2 providers i use iptv007 & helix both stayed online all this time but with slow progress in getting back everything 100% as before .

As i understood , the other platform that took xtream codes place were not ready and there server did not handle what xtream did .

So after 1 month what do you think ?

It's too early to tell yet..a lot of providers are still running on the xc platform (all the ones that hardly went down) since it only needs to "phone home" every 30 days. Since we are approaching that deadline, more and more providers that have not fully migrated will be going offline and we will see what the landscape will look like.

Jarvis is cutting the m3u links. im now looking for another service to migrate to.

I have gears iptv and Mayfair Pro tv guide, they both were minimally affected! I lost a few UK channels for a day or two, but that was about it!

Couple more months and we will know.

My UK supplier has not been helpful generally

I eventually got a new panel, but the majority of my Subs cannot connect, I sense we are all in the same Supply chain, I only have 85 subs but was easy heading for 100+

Very frustrating, I have a volume of credits just sitting there, it's a minefield at the moment.

I think if you can't find something to watch between the down channels then it's time to go out and get some fresh air

Well XC 2+ was more or less nulled and is being continually worked on to be fully functional. There are some features missing still, one of which is supposed to be released in an update this week (reseller functionality).

As I think I already saw in the replies, and from chats with owners, the original XC was used by so many because it worked, and worked very well. There simply was no close second.

Having XC officially die, and be migrated to an open dev community (XtreamUI) released without the subscription shit and callbacks to a main company/servers will prevent future issues at least on the panel side of things.

It's moving along, some providers are too dumb to return (shoulda never been a provider in the first place), maybe some features will go away or channel regions not added back.

Always a fluid situation.

Wondering why xtream codes did not have any competitor as i understood millions were made , so why no one bothered to make something similar ...

The biggest challenge for me was finding addons that still worked but there were a bunch that worked just fine. There were a few times when I couldn't watch what I wanted when it was on live TV but there's plenty of addons to play shows/movies after they've aired. I guess a lot depends on where you live and what you like to watch

Someone smarter than I am said the XC software could be installed elsewhere and set up again to do the same thing, let's just hope it doesn't take 3 years to do it.

Helix is still working, but the quality of the streams has gone down it seems. Getting buffering alot now, when I used to rarely get any with Helix. Remaining patient though.

I think you should browse and/or search the sub
