Honestly, the iptv apps for the TV's have been a bit hit and miss with all the recent changes.
Personally I would just stump up the extra bit and get a dedicated device. 4k Firestick being the cheap option, Z8 Formuler/Nvidia Shield being the bells and whistles devices.
I personally use Smart IPTV on my TV and on a android box. It's working pretty good and does all the things I want it to do.
SipTV works pretty good and its simple. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets removed from tv appstores due to recent events.
