A la carte

by lrellim

I was wondering if theres a service that lets you pick 20 or 30 channels instead of 7000?

For me 6000 7000 channels is not necessary when you only watch 15 or 20.

It would make it much easier to use I think.

Thanks in advanced

Use iptv smarts and add your favourite channels to "favourites". So yo dont need to browse among 7000 channels

You can ask the providers/resellers if they are able to as well.

I use the free m3u editor from htpcitalia. It's in Italian but not that hard to use once you get the grip.

yea there is ... for example UK service channel only :-) or Sport ENG channels service only ... but not sure if those services you can find here on reddit ...

Just remove the ones you don't watch, or ask your provider to remove them.

Ok thanks

What Im trying to do is make a smaller list so I can add it to emby. Since Emby does not group channels is long and messy.

If you a m3u file you can edit using notepadd++. Tem just erase the channels you don"t want.

With IPTV smarters app you can add channels to your favorites and also set up a parental block on any categories that you don't want all together. And that will hide them off your screen.

Philo, YouTube live,Hulu live and a bunch of legit services

Or just make ones you like favorites on the IPTV player using a IPTV service

I use a bash script to download the m3u file every day (to catch updates), then send only the groups of channels I do watch (like, English, not Pakastani) to a new m3u file. Then I point my player at the new file. Works like a charm.

Yeah it's called saving channels you watch to favorites. Then you only have to go to one single tab.
