Im searching for some kind of software that allows me to run multiple streams at one, fx. 4-9. Ive seen it on Youtube from some streamers, one guy streaming the Hong Kong protests and was showing up to 9 feeds all running.
I know its possible in VLC with some hack or multiple instances of VLC, but I'm hoping for a standalone software. All I've found is some professional stuff for televison broadcasters for $$$. Big plus if it works on Mac and iPad. Thnx.
iMPlayer and OTT Navigator both do this very well.
Many android IPTV apps allow this. They require several connections to function correctly.

OTT Navigator: can do up to 9 streams at once. Allows for enlarging a screen while the others shrink. Recently added the ability to change which screen is enlarged simply by hitting the left and right buttons. By far my favorite
Implayer: Good implementation, cannot enlarge one while keeping the others on screen. Can see epg when swapping channels. App is still new so expect some glitches. Still better than others tho
XCIPTV: Was the best before the above apps were released. Can enlarge windows but strangely only the window in the first position will be enlarged. Meaning if you want to enlarge another window you need to swap the channel entirely.
Smarters app: the first one to implement it it think. Clunky, supports an enlarged window but doesn't allow any swapping. You cannot even swap to a new layout without needing to reselect all your channels. Channel selection in multi window is different than the rest of the app making channel selection clunky and slow. Windows have weird bezels around them making the windows much smaller than they could be.
For windows you could open different VLC windows or use progtv progdvb. Using Windows however is a huge mess imo. Maybe if we still had Windows Media center but we dont

You can use iptv smarters the laterest version. It works. In Mac and Ipad
OBSstudio load up all you want but while your viewers will have an easy go your comp will likely crash with 4 or more streaming videos playing for broadcasting
