Check out Formuler Z8 as well, one of the best app, if you want to have a cable experience thats one to go for. PM me if you need more info/buy etc here is link to ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/254379852162

Tried all 3 myself.

Neither is perfect but my recommendation is:

  1. BuzzTV

  2. Formuler

  3. Fire stick

I liked how BuzzTV could allow you to remove groups entirely, within the app itself. Found this very useful for me (can clean up the guide and make things more streamlined by eliminating all the foreign language categories you don't need). Keep in mind its the xpl3000. From what I see the 4000 should be even better.

Formuler was very good, almost perfect actually. Guide seemed to load a bit faster, and the remote with the external ir receiver was very nice and responsive (dont need to point it right at the box to work). FYI I "think " the BuzzTV 4000 now has this type of remote as well, but can't confirm.

However it didn't allow for removing groups from the guide, and the epg guide itself had very small text size - was harder to read for the folks. So we settled on Buzz TV, which I think has a better interface.

Fire stick means you have to use STBemu. I think stbemu is probably the worst of all of them when it comes to interface. Unless it's a dedicated mag box, I wouldn't bother with stbemu on an android box or stick.

I have been on cable for a few years m8, and i bought the formuler box, for the app, the only difference, is there is no preference setup on any iptv box, compared to the cable set-up
