UK specific question here. I don't want the bother of 2 remotes so ideally looking for a new smart TV that has a decent IPTV app built in.
Is it best to go with Sony Bravia for their Google Play android apps or shall I continue to use the Samsung IPTV app?
Not sure on LG, they're recommended in Which? for the actual TVvs but not sure about any IPTV apps in their store?
Any help really appreciated.
LG very impractical, Sony has playstore but the likes of Perfect Player, TiviMate and Smarters apps have all been pulled from there anyway. If you're already happy with the Samsung app you can stick with it but....
Honestly with the price of firesticks and the ease of sideloading on them I'd just grab a TV that's great at being a TV and let the firestick or similar handle the IPTV side as they're far more tailored to it. Having a far more vast selection of apps at your disposal makes the extra little remote worth it for sure. IMO anyway. Having used plenty of them, I wouldn't go back to the Samsung app after using TiviMate with a solid provider.
