It won't scale 60fps content so if you have a good IPTV service, majority won't be upscaled.
I don't notice much with the A.I. but to me the video quality is much better from my 2017 Shield... and colors seem to pop more.. it feels much quicker as well.
I noticed it on some 30fps but overall I have noticed it.
Which IPTV are you guys using? And does anyone use one with a HTPC? I would like to get off this Firestick and use something like MP-BE and MadVR for upscaling.
Another way for Nvidia to scam folks who think a low quality stream or file is going to look like a 4k file. I can see the Youtube idiots making upscaling videos .
Which version of the new shield did people get the pro or regular
Nothing different other than a better remote. Software decoding feels a little bit smoother for 25, 30 FPS.
