Amazon Prime and BT Sports have both been given a set of fixtures (4th&5th DEC, 26th DEC, 1st JAN) where they will show every game live.
I think we are getting closer to the premier league finally allowing all 3PM kick offs to be shown legally but it all depends how successful this method is. This also tells me that they are finally listening to fans, long way to go but this is a good start
Me personally if this becomes the norm then i have no hesitation in going back to the big broadcasters.
I always thought it would be a good idea to be able to show 3pm games if all tickets were sold for the game. Frustrating thing is not being able to watch 3pm games for the English Premier league when you live in Northern Ireland and not even on the same patch of land as the games being shown!
I’m simply saying that fan doesn’t exist anymore and there are many more games being shown on tv today than ever before therefore to still have that rule today is ineffective. Bolton and bury are where they are because of financial mismanagement not because the locals have abandoned them.
3pm blackout is the reason why IPTV has become so big u only have to look at other industries like music and see how they’ve changed to combat or use technology to their advantage. Football simply cannot lag behind and do nothing otherwise illegal streaming will continue to grow
3pm games are the worst thing that can happen to football perfect for the armchair fans who never pumps any cash into there club u guys don’t understand how important it is to have a good crowd in a stadium crowd ! you do realise attendance do actually drop when a game is showed on TV.you want to watch footy at 3pm go down to your local team and watch them
