Increase ram on a STB?

Can we remove the existing ram on a set top box and put in a bigger one lets say 2gb or 4gb instead of 1 gb that is on my box?

I have a zte b760 hs3 but it is very slow for running apps. Can we replace the ram. Is the ram soldered on the board in a stb? How does it look like? And i dont know if other versions of this kind of ram are available in market or not?

No, you can't do that. Buying a new and better box is the only solution.

You could buy a chromebox and use the android apps via that. It would also mean you could add more ram, wouldn't be necessary tho.

Realistically 3gb is more then enough to handy anything you would be doing on a TV box.
