What happens if a reseller gets caught

by Whitehawk84

I've been offered to become a reseller. Let's say the worst happens and the old bill find out. What happens? Any resellers been caught?

make sure people send money as a friend if using paypal with nothing about iptv in that payment.

some resellers get caught because they get dobbed in by people they scammed .. so do not rip people off and always be helpful to your customers as alot of people need help setting it up.

Facebook is cracking down on IPTV so if you start a sellers page on there do not mention IPTV in the name of the group and make sure your group is private as so only people allowed to join can see what is being said and do not call your group ipeetv streams or anything like that.

the best way to gain new customers is provide a good service and word of mouth.. tell customers if they refer a friend you will give out free bonus months or cheaper services

Using a fake fb profile is best as well.. have nothing with your real name and selling iptv in the same basket if you get what I mean.

worst case if you get caught is they will want you to help them bust who you resell for .. the bill always want the big fish.

I am actually thinking of selling myself soon ..

Depends where you are. I assume the UK, so anything from Large Fines to Community Service or suspended prison sentence and in some cases a long Prison term. A couple of stories at the more extreme end of the Scale, which would suggest avoiding selling the service to Pubs and selling 'loaded' boxes.

If you are in the US, it currently is not a criminal offense but you can be sued in civil court. Right now Dish Network is said to be sending settling letters from their lawyers to busted resellers asking for $7500 in cash plus cooperation with authorities in lieu of being sued where if you lose you could risk fines and penalties in the hundreds of thousands. It's a risky business.

Dish Network also seems to be targeting customers of IPTV sending them letters asking for $3500 or risk being sued for much, much more.

If in the Uk I doubt you’d get in trouble unless you sell hardware too.
