Help please. If this is the wrong spot to post this please point me in the right direction!

So I’ve been using Android boxes for about 5 years now. I use mostly kodi but sometimes cyberflix. I can do the basics but not exactly a technical guy.

I have been using iptv for about a year and a half and just switched services to a new one. I’m they are both fine services but I have had nothing but problems with them. Constant buffering, channels not working at all, etc. I’ve been having some issues with kodi for the last week or so as well.

The boxes I have are relatively new so I don’t think it’s a hardware issue. I’ve done the usual clear the cache, unplug the box and modem and router but nothing seems to help. Watching something on Netflix is never and issue and all our other devices work with no issues. I just don’t know if I’m having problems with my internet or if that’s not the case then what might the problem be? For kodi and cyberflix I use real-debrid but have been seeing issues with either getting sources or if I get some more buffering problems. I feel like I’m missing something simple but it’s driving me crazy. If anyone can help I would very much appreciate it. As I stated earlier if there is a better spot for me to post this I will gladly do so!

Thank you!

you must always ask for a free test with iptv before purchase to test it.

there are many iptv and it all comes down to a few things :

  • your internet is having problems or too slow
  • the iptv servers too far from your location
  • the iptv service is having problems
  • never use wifi and always direct network cable to modem connection to box
  • do not use kodi but use iptv smarters free version --> https://iptv-smarters.en.aptoide.com/

do speed tests on your internet .. if you get 10mbps and higher than most iptv should be working for you no buffer.

I would test the IPTV at a friends house using their internet (try and use ethernet cable directly from the android box to the modem). If it works fine then it is your internet service. Perhaps try using a VPN like nord or any other quality VPN service (don't use free ones).

If you suspect your wifi is a problem, and it often is, use an extender that works thru your electric outlets. Sounds like you may have to Google those too. I was a bit sceptical but it works perfectly. Any major brand should be fine. Sure makes things easy to have a wired connection. Ditto on others advice to really do some homework on IPTV providers and choose carefully, one month at a time.
