IPTV APK internet speed?

I've used several APKs from various IPTV providers on Fire stick. When I run a speedtest from the Firestick home page, I get around 100 mbs down. I have 400 mbs service, but the USB for Firestick is limited to 100 mbs. I understand that, but when I run a speedtest from within their APKs, they all show a lot less... like maybe 20 mbs, if I'm lucky. Are the APKs just calculating my internet speed wrong, or they utilizing internet speed in the back ground for other purposes? I'd really like to know...

Well there are local speed tests and speed tests to where the servers of the iptv service.

A local speed test should give you maximum results, as that is what you pay your isp for, but if the servers from the iptv service you use are located internationally your speed will be much lower than that.

There is no isp which will guarantee an international speed.
