Now that Gears is gone I'm looking for a new service. The Mayfair EPG will truly be missed. It's was accurate, worked flawlessly and channels were sorted properly out of the box. Is there anything even close to the Mayfair guide out there? Just tried Thunder TV and it was pretty bad.

So far Gears was leaps and bounds better than anything else I've used, even if it was ran by douchebags. It will truly be missed.
I use xml-tv.com to fill in the blanks on my IPTV subscriptions - it's solid and less than a $1 a month
Usually every provider supports mag.
STB EMU is a great application for android, it emulates mag devices.
If EPG doesn't work right in it, the provider sucks.
iptv smarters pro is a better application for android in my opinion, you need the latest cracked version. This can do m3u support as well.

IVUE TV guide is the best app for KODI, gears reloaded and mayfair guides used a modified version of it. But it can support any provider, you will have to build your own XML EPG unless the provider supports it.
ZAP2XML is a good application that can do this.

I just got done with thunder TV trial also. After being a shit canned off of gears TV. I love the way the mayfair guide had all of the sports packages and you could just pick out what game. On thunder TV I started watching part of the NFL game and I just switched over some Brett Favre program out of the blue. I have no idea what happened there.
I did enjoy the thunder TV had Alf 24/7

i too was a gears customer. What was great about this is you loaded the apk put in your subscriber details and it worked. The epg was the best, it was accurate well populated with imformation and was easy to use, will truly miss it. (yes the streaming quality was not as good). tried Commando because they have a $4 off regular $10 for first month. It streaming quality is better, but the epg sucks 1. its not well populated with information 2 lot of blanks3 not accurate listings .

That is just like gears theybuse the mayfair guide. Try the trial out. They also have a Facebook group
Gears sucked I never like the guide. There mobile app was garbage. No idea why people loves them. Glad there gone. Now the FBI has all your information. It safer to stick with a service that dont have millions of users.
