Hello everyone, i am looking for an advise in relation to viewing iptv. I have tried apps on smart tv, have got xiomi mi bix as well as x96max and i am not impressed with their performance. Switching between different channel takes long (sometimes up to 9 seconds) where on pc it happens instantly. Therefore i am looking for an iptv dedicated box rather than a box that can do everything. Should. I look into the direction of linux? Thanks for opinions.
Shield with IMplayer is tops IMO

There is no competition. It's the Nvidia shield all day, every day. Best audio and Damn close first with video. Apps and speed, shield all day, every day. The rest of its capability is icing on the cake
Mi box is one of the best, go get a ethernet adapter for it.

If you're also a gamer, get a Shield. The Shield is also, bar none, the best performance device for iptv.
If you want performance on a budget get a Fire Cube + TiviMate. I have this setup one one tv and it's fantastic.
If you aren't going to tinker around or install a lot of apps and you want a simple cable style setup then get a Z8.
