Ive read some comments from that developer talking shit on Tivimate to "promote" his product and it soured me a bit on his app. IM has some options I want, but im willing to wait on Tivimate to add them.

As a developer myself, I fucking love this sort of feedback.

I find it easy to design an app for myself, but may not use it the same way others do. What I think is perfect, may be faaaaar from that.

All you did was provide some insight to how you use it, some features you’d like to see, and things you might want tweaked.

Guy was a massive fucking douche to respond like that. I mean, he can (and 100% will) ignore everything you suggest - but at the very least get your head out of your ass when people suggest things to make your PUBLIC app better.

I’d understand if you have something you made for yourself like a script or something and you say “i made this use it if you want”...but this guy is actually trying to sell it.

CONS • I'm sure everyone has either devices that i mentioned so there is no need for the Blue, Yellow, Red, Green buttons functions because most of us don't use the actual TV remote and we tend to use the device remote like Firestick or Shield remotes which has no such button to function the Blue, Yellow, Red & green buttons. I use a third party air remote with Blue, Red, Yellow, and green buttons, you can map these anyways with remote map anyways • Guide Defaults to All Channels or Favorites what should it default to? • While on Channel - UI is too much Never used a Formuler have you • Opening the App lands on the first channel Changes i would like to request if possible TV GUIDE VIEWING Pressing guide is to much? • Remove Blue, Yellow, Red, & Green buttons while on the Guide you already said this? ** • No need for the Back icon on the Guide - no one can use it i fan and if you mapped your remote you could as well • Don't need to see IPTV Address (on top) you will once there is concurrent streams • Use Left Dpad as a default to go to the it does with a long press group list WHILE ON CHANNEL • Show player UI (RWD, Pause, FFW) &Length it doesn’t for you? • Remove Grey box don't need to see what's next or before on the channel you do if you have catchup or want to know what’s next • Long Press (ok/play button on remote) for Settings / Favorites / Catch Up icon only what? • remove Search - this is useless this was a top request by the community and is implemented beautifully, same as tivimate ** • Use Back button as default to go back to TV guide it does with a long press • Up & Down button as a default for channel switching there is an option to set it this way • Remove Date Why? Do you not like knowing what day and what is when

SETTINGS • Integrate Plex or Emby show me an app that has DLNA intergrated 🤦🏻‍♂️ OVERALL Seeing this app is still in beta its not its impressive to what functions it can do, i personally love the look of the UI and it reminds me of back in the days tv but better but we know that looks isnt always what people are after for, its the functions. While somewhat friendly UI most wives or older will need to get used to it looks like most cable boxs UI now There are some bugs but this is why the app is in BETA. You have to remember this app will be compared to others and if you're planning to set the standard you need to implement some of the things i mentioned why eveything you have mentioned mostly already exists or you want to remove features which i promise you others feel the same way. I love the fact that you have the ability to minimize what you are currently watching while browsing the guide, no player has done this yet. I purchased this app out of curiosity to see what the hype is but will come back once it reaches out of beta. i don’t think you have it a fair shake That's my 2 cents. be fair and actually play around with the app and the settings first next time

Hey, first app is not in beta at all.

CONS:

Don't really understand if they are suggestions problems or cons but

• You can link any remote you want with any android device, if you did then great for you it's an extra feature no other app offer, you can also use the virtual menu for colored buttons (long press OK)
• Again suggestion? it goes back to the category you choose the channel from.
• Honestly again no idea what you are trying to say
• You can change it to do whatever you want: open fav, open guide, open last viewed channel

TV GUIDE VIEWING

• Will not be removed
• Won't be removed

WHILE ON CHANNEL

• Won't be changed
• This is live stream not a vod, you don't go forward and backwards as you wish, only on catchup or using the rewind feature
• That's literally the meaning of live tv and cable like interface
• No need for long press to bring catch up as it much more accessible the way it is
• Are u kidding? no need for search?....
• Back button is already default to go to the EPG layout
• Up Down won't be default for channel zapping, you can activate it at settings

No offense but I honestly consider this "feedback" as rubbish or trolling, if you are not trolling I suggest to you to use the app again as you got most of it wrong.

What you are looking for, or your suggestion are not for a live app tv at all, you are looking for something else completely my friend.
