A VPN basically hands you a smaller straw to drink from but the new straw is relatively more secure/and less see thru. (Nothing is prefect)
Not sure why my question wasn't posted with my post. I'm currently trying out Eternal IPTV and noticed with VPN on, channels did not work. With it off, works but it buffers at times.
KeepSolid VPN is the service I have and it works great with other apps, even Kodi. But not with Eternal IPTV.
I don't really trust watching IPTV without a VPN, I'm considering a refund.
i am useing both express and nord because i heard they were the best for steaming stuff from the US ? not the case for me espn+ hulu fox soccer match pass all give a message saying it looks like your useing a proxy tool please deactivate to watch on hulu? i tried different servers and i went through a trouble shoot with a tech from express on live chat and nothing worked😔😔
What country state or prov you in?
You get what you pay for
For most people in the USA, it's not been a requirement and is discouraged by some of the IPTV providers because they're tracking connections by IP rather than just by credentials. The other reason is that you'll typically reduce your maximum bandwidth by using a VPN because consumer routers or IPTV clients don't have the CPU power to do line speed VPN which can result in bad streaming. There's also the potential MTU issues and fragmentation that come with VPNs which can create issues. In general, if you don't need it -- don't use one.
They're great if your ISP is monitoring/blocking/throttling or if you have to get over a geo/IP hurdle but aside from that you're generally better without one. I typically only use one for p2p stuff. That'll change when they start going after Joe user for IPTV streaming in this country. The only other use case for VPN's that I can think of is public wifi usage.
I am using express vpn and i have no buffering. Also i have fios gigabit internet
I really like KeepSolid VPN, got a $15 lifetime deal special. I have no problems with any other apps, works flawlessly on Firestick. Its servers are always up and fast speed. They even provide a torrent only server, good for PB. And for Hulu or Netflix, I can add an exemption so Hulu doesn't give me any warning. I have no quarrels with this VPN service-It's solid. All other apps (Mobdro, Kodi, MB, TV Tap) do not buffer and haven't been any issues.
I have read great things about Eternal. But I'm noticing buffer issues, playback errors and looping, even with the VPN off.
When I put in a work ticket to Eternal, they simply reply not to use my VPN service.
I might look into Joker IPTV..
Yes thats true , in my case i installed nord vpn on my firetv with cloudspal.com provider the service did not even load just says connection ... i thought it was a problem from the provider , after several hours i contacted them and they asked me to disable vpn and it worked !
If you always access a single Country or location opting for a static ip, your own IP, versus dynamic IP, shared IP, may avoid blocking.
Get a trial from another provider and see if the issue still exists with and without the VPN, process of elimination, you can also check out r/IPTV_services
That is a true statement if not using good VPN service
