I'm a new user to Kodi and if someone would help me I'd really appreciate it.
Is it possible to get m3u8 playlists for free for live channels including sports (mostly for Albania but if it has other channels it'd be nice).

Kodi isn't a better option to watch IPTV anymore. There's so many issues and downs recently.
You can find some good players on web, (supreme iptv, etc).
And being truest, for free you wouldn't find any good list. Try some search in this site to get some light and learn a lot about iptv:

Smart iptv is the best option. You pay a one in a life time subscription and its not that expensive, around $5. Download m3u or m3u8 playlists and upload them on the smart iptv site and enjoy. Type smart iptv on youtube if you want to know more
U cant find free list they wont last 1 day or so, if u want app for android search... :》 albkanale,albbox xyz, NaAd tv or nati, also check vala tv app have some free channel not sport click on (pako promocionale) in first launch. 👍🏻
Check out Sportz TV. I believe they might have the channels you are looking for. They charge $10 bucks for two connections, but you can get up to four connections on one sub for $20 bucks.
You are a bit late to the party m8. Kodi is so 2 years ago. Find yourself a good iptv service.
