You've never had a true IPTV such as AT&T Uverse. Instant channel change...ALWAYS! It would kill me when I would goto someone's house or stay at a hotel with traditional cableTV. I would always be like how do ppl live like this.

It's funny how far technology has advanced, yet channel changes get slower and slower, and not just the boxes either. Brand new 4k tv even takes a second or two to change channels on antenna, even analog.. The 4k DirecTV box I had was unusably slow, yet my IPTV service flips channels almost like an old analog cable signal. I can channel surf again! Been many years since I could do that... And I'm doing it over an LTE connection, so I can only imagine how fast it'd be with a decent weird connection.

And these companies think its just about the cost of traditional cable services. Yes the cost is high and the stupid fees for HD and crappy set top boxes are a rip off but its more than that. I mean it says alot when my back up 2-dollar a month Ali-express IPTV provider has better quality and buffering speed then the billion doller companies. As long as these "service" providers are giving us the shaft by agreeing behind closed doors to keep the quality low I will keep bypassing their services.
