IPTV & AT&T

by DSTfrog

So I am fairly new to using IPTV (IT guy at work had his own service) and truthfully don’t know too much about it. We have his service at our office and it works seamlessly and seems to never buffer. Well, I’ve had it in my house now for about 3 months and while it’s mostly been pretty good, NFL redzone and major sports games seem to buffer quite a bit making them virtually unwatchable. This isn’t the case with the other people using his service so I’ve been trying to figure out the issue. I found a few threads saying AT&T isn’t the best ISP for using IPTV. If I upgraded to AT&T fiber would this help or should I switch off of AT&T entirely. Any and all recommendations welcome. Thanks!

I have ATT as my phone service and when I try to use an IPTV service, it gets blocked by AT&T where I just get black pictures on all channels. But when I connect the phone via wifi at Starbucks, it magically works. So fuck AT&T.

Solution to this is VPN maybe.

Yup att maybe your problem try a vpn

I’ve tried about 20 services

Mostly the ones mentioned in Troy forums, emails etc

I have not tried or even know about AT&T

But until a couple of days ago, I couldn’t get any service to watch nicely. Having switched to a wired connection with gig service has made a huge difference.

A vpn should always be used with any iptv service

Fiber is the best. But as much as I hate Concrap they do have a very good product, and that is who I have and with very little to no problem. down is about 240 mbps Up is about 17-20 mbps

What is your internet speed? Go to https://fl.testmy.net and test your download speed?

VPN needs to be used no matter who your provider is
