Hive allows up to 5 mac's, been using that and beast as a backup
You can setup portals on your Z8 that are either MAC based or xtream code compatible and it is rare that an M3U provided subscription is not xtream code compatible.
Additionally you can setup playlists using native M3U and EPG URLs but as described above you are better served to do an xc portal in lieu of native M3U/EPG.
So you can use a provider that is either/or MAC or M3U based subscriptions. XC portal is quick and effective as it in essence builds the native M3U and EPG strings while you merely enter target server URL and credentials.
