Yes it is still safe. With PayPal one court order and all info is forwarded.
With crypto it’s different it’s almost impossible to trace all transactions and if it’s just $10-15 amount do you really think anyone has time for that, not only that but it will require a court order for each person. It’s too much work for authorities.
