I wouldn't mind trying that myself. Just as an interest and for friends. How would you start that?
Well ive never even tried to put together a library of movies, store them, then pass it out through an app with username and password. At least you have it compiled. Did you download them? Where did you get the movies from? I saw your post and was interested in what you are doing. No need to be like that you know.
How would anyone go about setting up iptv with vod? I would like to do that. Not to sell just for family and friends. Somthing I would love to just try
In my opinion, Plex or Emby is better than IPTV VOD. You can find some on r/plexshares

Really depends on what you are trying to do. If you just want to host your own content for yourself, just use plex or emby. If you are trying to setup some vod service for others, look into plex or emby shares.
Not sure why you'd want to add it to smarters, as vod has better alternatives, but it that is what you really want your likely need xtream codes or another professional panel I think.
