TiviMate by far.
I’ve been using tivimate on Firestick 4K because i like the remote control shortcuts. I can easily return to the previous channel (right click). And I can easily view the previously watched channels (enter). It definitely helps when I’m switching between 2-3 channels during commercial breaks. The TV guide is also very traditional and customizable.

I have the formuler Z8 and Tivimate. I like tivimate for the layout / menus / programable keys / Able to hide groups and channels. I especially like the overlay guide when watching a program too. I just got the Z8 a few days ago because the GT King crashes in the guides on most players.
Beelink is not replying to any support questions on this problem. I posted in their forum with the others and also sent them an email to support asking on this - this was friday. Little early to tell on the email. Have to wait a few days to see if they reply.

I'm very new to IPTV... < 6 months... so from a newbies perspective this is what I've found to be the best for me...
Android - GSE IPTV. I've also bought the paid versions (if available) of IPTV Extreme Pro and Perfect Player IPTV and tried going back and forth between the three but for me I prefer GSE IPTV interface getting around channels and controls on my Samsung Note 8. Also, I like that I have the option to shoot to ChromeCast too.
Windows 10 - MyIPTV Player in the Microsoft store. Simple to download and setup and just a really clean player.
Apple TV - IPTV Player Pro
Always check now and then what the latest/popular players are and open to trying.
Happy enough with GSE IPTV and then I can cast from there.

Emby. It can record the IP streams and acts as a front end to your media collection. It requires a server but that also centralizes the configuration. The server could run on an Android TV device but I use a PC.
PVR Live - it has live channels integration, its cheep - only 1 dollar/ month and u can record live tv - that is why its my favorite!
I've stuck with Perfect Player as well, as I've found no other android IPTV app to have the same reliability for playback (aka actually watching something)
