Dear all,
At home, I have an Android TV box where I watch my IPTV on, but when I'm away I sometimes need to use a Chromecast.
I always use a VPN connection when watching IPTV, but when that is enabled I can't cast to my Chromecast.
Is there anyway I can fix this? Or is this unfixable?

If your using a hotel internet why use a VPN. since the hotel would not care that you are using IPTV
I am on vacation in Lietchstein using my IPTV service and no VPN and not having issues.
I believe there is a setting in the VPN to allow local network... I have PIA VPN and ran in to the same issue trying to use the iPhone remote for the device. Once I allowed the local network it worked just fine....

you'll get a limited version though which you could patch and so switch it to PRO version with the app Lucky patcher, if you don't know how just go at sub r/luckypatcher and follows the instructions or asks for help there, you do have to patch the in app purchases.
this vpn allows you cast to chromecast
You need to install your VPN on your router or it will not work. There is no way for chrome cast to have a stand alone VPN.
