New to IPTV

by nopulse76

I apologize for my noobishness, I'm new to the whole IPTV thing.

I was wondering if someone could help me. What Android box would you recommend for IPTV? Would Nvidia Shield be any good? Also I assume you need an VPN subscription, correct? And lastly, what IPTV subscription is best? I was looking at Helix, but then I heard ppl having problems with them since they got hacked. Is GearsTV decent?

I'm in Canada if that matters, eh? ;)

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Shield is a really good option. As previously stated, do a couple one month trials to get a fair sense of what you're getting. Take a week or two beforehand and read through this sub to get a sense of what users think about the various providers. Keep in mind that many resellers will post and comment with praise for their own service (usually without mentioning their connection to the service they're praising). One thing I have noticed is that it's somewhat difficult to find a provider that offers Canadian channels in HD, most are in SD which is frankly unwatchable.

Formuler or dreamlink for a box and beast for a service. shields are over priced and their crap for iptv

Nvidia Shield cost around $180.00...if you are on a budget the 4k Firestick at $50.00 will do just fine for IPTV. If you need a great service with Canadian channels I can help you with that also. DM me for details.

Huh, wonder if this question has ever been asked before? Don’t hurt the search bars feeling like that.

I would be happy to help you get everything setup on your shield. If interested shoot me a PM.

Shield or formuler z are the best android boxs, vpn is not always needed but nice to have in case your isp starts to throttle your service, mine never has but I use a VPN for other things. I can refer you to a great US, CA, UK and Latino focused service. They don't advertise, referrals only. PM me for info.
