Mag is generally recommended as being easy to use, but their manufacturer Infomir is working with rights holders to block portals on demand, so no longer a good idea, even though some hardcore fan boys still have a hard on for them and hawk them around as suggestions. For my parents (aged 84 & 89), I just rigged up a cheap android box, with Smarters Pro set to autoload on start up, so far its not given them any issues and they have zero technical knowledge. The only complaint they had is when their provider removed VOD, as absolutely no way could they figure out setting up and using Plex or Cyberflix / Real Debrid and having to juggle multiple apps. But I'll just change their provider when their sub expires.

Would fire tv stick with smart iptv be ok ? They have a panasonic tv but unfortunately smart iptv have to be loaded on external box, Would smart iptv be controlled by tvs remote.. thanks

Magbox by far. Lot of of talk about blocking portals but not much has been blocked as of yet. The better services have upgrades for the portal block.
