Do you have a PC or Mac? Download Bluestacks android emulator and purchase the companion app through the google play store.
I got a Google Play gift card and used my friends android phone to download the companion app.
If you don't have an android device that has access to GooglePlay its a little inconvenient. You'll have to download an android emulator to purchase the premium license. I wish there were other options to buying premium because this work around is kind of stupid. Thankfully you'll only need to do it once a year.
