My sub to them runs out in January but since they have been down. My sub as change expiry date two unlimited. Has anyone else's helix changed. I keep checking helix to see if it's working and it works just fine I'm just wary about using it even with a VPN on. I know I said be ok using a VPN but I'm still wary.
i moved from helix 3 months ago due to the downtime they were facing , i switched to cloudspal hosting , the funny part that the helix sub even that it expired a while ago it is still working! most channels are dead or lagging but the sub is running even though it expired ! crazy
No harm done in using what's left of them, if you can tolerate the buffering and missing channels. Definitely not advisable to send payment to anybody claiming to offer sub extensions/renewals.
So is there a suggested alternative for uk right now?
I’m with bit-tv (helix reseller.) My account is also showing no expiry date now - I haven’t paid in 2 months. Service still works great!!!

You're good on a VPN, they are not going to chase down end users, just isn't worth it.
