Smarters external players for VOD?

Question

Does anyone know exactly which players are compatible with Smarters? Can't seem to find this info anywhere.

I've tried MX and VLC. Can't remember why I didn't like MX. On VLC, some of content was stretched to 16:9 and no matter what I pressed it wouldn't change to letterbox. Also, there didn't seem to be anyway to set default audio stream and it would always start playing anything other than English.

The built in player doesn't have any of these issues but the actual controls aren't great, hardware buttons don't work and more than once I've tried to rewind a video only to accidentally switch to the previous video!

I think any player installed on your device can be added. As a test I installed Wuffy Player from the play store and it showed up as an option in Smarters.

I use VLC from VLAN website. It's better than the one you get from the Amazon store. It has more features and I hardly ever have issues with it. If you have filelinked I could shoot you a copy if you have trouble getting it.
