Tiny buffering on fire cube but not on fire stick???

Question

I’ve recently bought a fire cube which has replaced my fire stick I’ve got smart iptv for both. The fire stick runs it fine 0 buffering at all but the new fire cube buffers every 30 seconds or so for like 1 second it’s so annoying! I have no idea why it is doing this I thought if anything the cube would run it better? And idea why this is happening? Is the cube to powerful? I have really good internet like 200mbs. It doesn’t buffer if I go on bbc iPlayer or itv player or anything like that it’s just smart iptv any advice would be welcome else it’s £90 down the drain 😭😭

Could be the location of the cube. Best thing for you to do is isolate either you 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz signal. Move all your normal devices to 5ghz and have only the cube on the 2.4 ghz or vice versa . That way your cube has a dedicated band that it isn’t sharing with any devices. This has helped me with buffering in the past.

Is the Cube hardwired? I would never be caught dead using either device but u believe the Firestick has better wifi than the Cube.

So it turns out it’s still doing it 😩 think I’m probably guna have to send it back and just get my money back 👎👎
