I have both. Xbox works fine for me for IPTV , But the remote is kind of klunky.
For me, the shield is 100% better though
Myiptv works slick on the xbox1s, channel zap times were very impressive, does crash on occasion but impressed with its quality.
It’ll work fine - there’s a free app in the Microsoft store for IPTV on the Xbox (requires an m3u link).
Downsides for me are lack of a decent remote control, power consumption and noise (my Xbox One fan runs quite loud). YMMV on that.
