Real-Debrid gets mentioned a lot and seems a requirement for many addons. However, I see various other options, e.g. AllDebrid etc. Is there any advantage to using more than one? I'm not asking for one to be recommended over another, just whether they all do the same thing or not.
Once I have chosen one, does it get Re-Authorised centrally or does it need doing for each add-on? Should VPN be on or off when I authorise? Are there specific NordVPN servers that should be favourited?
Some addons show a list of streams but nothing loads when I click them. Sometimes I get the play button for a few seconds or proxy server loading. Not sure if it happens now as I assume this should be off as I'm not aware of having a proxy server. It's off now anyhow.
Final stupid question: What is the difference between what I can get with an universal resolver and an IPTV sub. Should the latter be more reliable streams?
It’s my understanding that they all do the same thing.
It’s needed for each addon. VPN makes no difference because the app generates a code that you enter on the web page of the provider.
IPTV subs are mostly used for live streams and are generally better quality (provider dependant) than free streams.
If you’re looking for movies or TV series, a Plex or Emby share would be a better option than an IPTV sub. There are subreddits for both (/r/plex & /r/emby for general stuff and /r/plexshares & /r/embyshares for shares).
