"DELETE REMOVED FROM PROVIDER" XEEV EDITOR

by SirPotz

I recall last time I did this it deleted several channels from my playlist too. What exactly does this do if I delete this cache? I read somewhere its important to do but I'm afraid Ill screw something up. Currently have 1154 channels that say "delete removed from provider".

That means that they were deleted by your provider, most likely because they are not working anymore. If you don't delete them they will be still visible on your list.

This just cleans up the channels your provider removed since your last sync (update). If it removes all the channels, use the "force" option in XEEV and they should return assuming your account is active.

I had the same issue. I inadvertantly hit "delete removed from provider". All my channels are gone and wont return after force option. Account is definitely active. API Line

I use this free website https://m3u4u.com to manage my m3u playlist also EPG! It removes automatically the groups/channels deleted by provider and update the current ones!

I would avoid doing it. Sometimes a full category doesn’t sync properly and you would end up deleting that.
