ISPs blocking popular IPTV floating around

by mixterz1985

Hi, if you recently bought one of the fancy new services that's going around from resellers and it's not working today. Many ISPs have blocked the server. VPN will fix the issue. If you're not affected then great. Reason you never go more than 1-3 months regardless how tempting the price is .

I think vpns are becoming more and more of a necessity everyday.

Unfortunately though, what's stopping isps for cracking down on vpns?

A lot of people think vpns can't be blocked, but they are wrong. That said, I'm not sure the legality of blocking vpns at an isp level but it certainly can be done.

For people that don't wanna go the VPN route, they can always consider alternate bypass routes such as shadowsocks (commonly used in China to get past their firewalls)

ISP blocking is part and parcel of IPTV it's a cat and mouse game.

Also is connecting a VPN that much of a chore?

Read this some years back. Joined one of them, have no vpn & have no issues. Easy solution for UK users, avoid the big 6 isp's. Go with a quality ISP like Idnet or AAISP. Both refuse to censor anything, both are committed to not throttling anything. With idnet or AAISP youll never need to use a vpn with iptv (and they are likely to be faster as well). If you are with one of the big six isps, can you see this site without a VPN? https://www.limetorrents.info/
