I've got an Android Box that I loaded myself a few years ago, I dusted it off and found that not a lot is working. What is the best way to refresh the box? There are several people on Craigslist that will refresh for $25+ but I'm cheap and would rather like to do it myself. I'm pretty tech savvy so can do it -- looking for guides or an "all-in-one" package that I could download. Appreciate any assistance or direction...
The biggest problem you're likely to run into is an old Android version and outdated hardware. It's probably best to just buy a Firestick 4K or an Android TV box for ~$50.
Old boxes can’t be refreshed, for the most part. The Android version that is on there is what you have to live with. Problem is that most IPTV apps now require a newer version of Android to work at all. Your best bet is to ditch and buy new. Look for a box that at minimum runs Android 7, better would be to get one with the latest Android version to take advantage of all features the IPTV app has to offer.
What version of Android is on it?
Best IPTV player are r/TiviMate and r/iMPlayer try both and see which one do you like.
