Difference between reseller, rebrand, and source

by djtoucan

Serious replies only please. What is the actual difference between a reseller, rebrander, and source? What are typical identifiers of each? What are ways to identify if you are subbing to one vs the other? Advantages and disadvantages?

There’s more to it than this but here’s a condensed explanation:

Source - Where the streams originate, may or may not sell subscriptions.

Reseller - Buys bulk subs (at a discount) from the “source” or a “master reseller” and resells to customers. The “master reseller” buys bulk subs direct from the “source” but usually only sells to other resellers.

Rebrand - Reseller who buys subs from a source, puts his name on the apk used to play and sells the sub as his own.

Pros and cons. Buying a sub from the source may be cheaper but you usually will get minimal support. Buying from a reseller may cost a bit more but will usually offer more support. Rebrands offer no more support than any other reseller but you get a cool app with their logo on it.

Does anyone know if nectariptv is a source or rebrander?

squartino

How to be part of source teams? Or how can i recognize resellers who buy directly from sources?

In addition to what others have said, resellers most times sell more than one service.
