Forum Rules Clarification

by Fents_Post

Over the last 24 hours I've seen threads related to certain services being down deleted. I'm curious what rules are being broken? Nobody is posting links. Nobody is posting a review. In some replies may ask for a service recommendation....but the original post just complains about a down service.

Just looking for some clarification so people know what they should, or should not, be posting. Thanks.

Don't post about specific services. Especially don't name them in the subject line. I'm doing my best to protect providers because these forums are 100% monitored by authorities and Torrent Freak and other people you wouldn't want to be looking into whatever service you use. Some people are just flat out reckless and dumb as hell, posting every time something negative happens and just putting services on blast.

I don't get it. Talk to your provider. If you want recommendations use r/IPTVReviews and read reviews. If you want free reign and want to get spammed by resellers which is all that happens when you make posts like that, use r/IPTVResellers.

2019 was a terrible year for this industry and if we want 2020 to be better we all have to do our part to be smarter about what's put out there.

I don't know what type of customer service you expect from a service that's charging $5 to $20 monthly for every conceivable channel in the world that would cost hundreds of dollars if it were offered legally. Get a grip people. If you decide to use a service like this be real about it.

I cant see why people shouldnt be able to discuss services so they can be taken care of accordingly....makes no sense to me.

This post was about the rules here. Not the service providers

Specific_Angel pretty much summed it up.

Not to beat a dead horse but..... although each user is only paying a small sum, the provider may be collecting significant amounts of money. If their service is good and the price is right, they grow rapidly. I'm guessing many of them are not real businessmen and are not prepared to handle the growth, thus they flounder. Keep that in mind - maybe even expect it - when you sign on to a new service. Always be on the lookout for a backup and move there quickly when yours lets you down.
