Shield if price isn’t an issue. It blows everything else out of the water including the z8.
I'd say mibox as is has the android tv os. Also you can use a keyboard remote witch the firestick lacks!! There both good but if I had to choose it would be #2

If you're being cheap, then they are both decent options. There are far better options if price is not the barrier to entry.

Mi box S is slow (same SoC as Mi Box), in fact is slowest than anything else:
