Download the playlist and edit it, this is free depending on the size of the playlist : https://m3u-editor.com/ github likely has a shit ton of completely free alternatives and you can do it in any text editor if you’re careful not to mess up the formatting.
Can you create a "favorites" list?
On the MyTVOnline2 app that came with my Formular Z8 box there is a "favorites" category. I have identified several channels as favorites and when I want to just look at what's on them, I look in that category.
The app I use doesn’t have that feature.

Try m3u4u.com , it actually updates unlike editing with notepad or such, and is free.
