Any tv can play IPTV as long as you have a connection between your Android device/ Firestick And the TV
I've got the 40" Sanyo Roku TV. How can I get IPTV to work on it?
Roku isn’t going to cut it for IPTV. Buy a firestick or my recommendation if budget isn’t an issue buy a shield.
If your TV has a working HDMI port you can do IPTV via Firestick, Roku or Android/Apple TV box. Problem with Roku is that it is poor for IPTV, you can’t download any IPTV apps. I would get at least a Firestick for IPTV.
Just to be clear, as no-one else seems to have stated this, IPTV is NOT a video format.
It's the technology of delivering TV over the internet.
